SALIFE is a highly sophisticated magazine that showcases the incredible talent in South Australia; talent that includes designers, artists, entrepreneurs, business people, chefs, architects, winemakers... the list is almost endless.
SALIFE launched in December 2003 with the mantra “the best of Adelaide and South Australia”, and in all this time the ethos has remained the same. As we came to know our readers and our craft, it was evident that we could do more to reach out to the South Australian audience. Hence the launch of SAHomes & Interiors in 2009, followed by SAGardens (now SAGardens & Outdoor Living) and SALIFE Food & Wine the following year.
Along the way there have also been books, calendars and custom publishing, including The Vine for Burnside Village. We remain conscious of our audience and consider our titles to offer aspirational, inspirational and informative content. Today, each month we’re working on at least two magazines simultaneously.
The past decade has seen the rise of social media, which we’ve embraced, but two major readership surveys of our titles over the past three years have asked us not to move the publications significantly online. Our large format, glossy magazine appeals to readers who appreciate its tactile nature, the quality of the stock and production – even the smell of the print. Readers feel it is this medium that best conveys our brand values and presents the state in the best way.
