FEATURE LISTING: Made for living in Myrtle Bank

Designed by Stephen Piotto of Amulet Property and crafted by Diaz Homes, this designer domain is the modern entertainer’s dream.

Located in prime position at 13 Wooltana Avenue, Myrtle Bank, this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home has a commanding facade that can only compare to the modern luxury of its internal attributes.

When director of design at Amulet Property, Stephen Piotto, is designing a house his main consideration is if it is a home he would want to live in.

“I like to imagine how I would feel walking through the home and design it in that way,” Stephen says.

With 10 years of industry experience, Stephen is well-acquainted with what it takes to design and craft a bespoke family home.

“When starting the design process, all aspects of the site need to be considered from site orientation with a strong focus to the Northerly aspect to the positives and constraints of the site, thermal performance and well thought out floor plan to the integration of quality materials and finishes,” Stephen says.

Stephen further ensures there is a balance in private spaces and public spaces within the home’s design.

Public spaces are about guest experiences and how well a host can entertain within the home. A seamless transition between indoors and outdoors is essential for creating an inviting atmosphere and making the most of a space.

“I don’t want to have to walk too far without seeing into the garden,” Stephen says. “Every home I design will have plenty of large windows.”

An open-plan kitchen, living and dining space utilises a curved feature wall to soften the space and craft a seamless transition between each area, inviting residents and guests alike to drift through the home and enjoy all it has to offer.

The luxurious kitchen flaunts stone benchtops throughout, a feature splashback, and a built-in double fridge and freezer alongside a butler’s pantry that offers quality Miele appliances, sleek cabinetry and an abundance of bench space.

At the back of the home, sliding doors lead to the manicured outdoor living area with an outdoor kitchen featuring a built-in fridge and Weber barbecue to provide the perfect space for indoor-outdoor entertaining during summertime.

In winter, family and friends can cosy up beside the gas log fireplace and watch as rain batters the three-metre tall windows and skylights above.

Private spaces, such as a master suite, are designed to be hidden from the public spaces as an oasis where the homeowner can relax, unwind and feel completely at home.

The master suite of this design resides on the lower level and features a designer dressing room alongside an exquisite ensuite boasting floor-to-ceiling feature tiling, sparkling stone tops and a designer tub.

Large windows with views to a private garden accompanied by overhead skylights allow an abundance of natural light to flow into the room – bouncing off the oak timber flooring for added warmth and comfort.

Upstairs resides three further bedrooms and a designated study and retreat, ensuring a separate space for relaxed, everyday living.

Stephen creates visual interest by using a neutral palette for the base of a design and contrasting it with feature textiles and facets to catch the eye and draw attention.

‘“Everything we do needs to have visual interest,” Stephen says. “The interior of this home features oak timber herringbone floors, 2PAC joinery, luxury sheer curtains and brass fixtures and fittings.”

With every aspect of the property taken into consideration to craft the perfect living experience, this house is now awaiting its first ever family to make it their home.

“It is important to cater for a wide demographic of people, so being a four-bedroom, two-living and two-bathroom home means it appeals not only to growing families but also to downsizers as the master suite is located on the ground floor,” Stephen says

The sale is being handled by Alexi Broikos and Noah Bonnici of Refined Real Estate.
