Celebration of culture
The Jaipur Literature Festival, from November 1 to 3, will bring together more than 60 participants over more than 40 free events. Writers, thought leaders, activists and artists will come from China, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, The Netherlands, the UAE and the UK. One highlight is author Shashi Tharoor, who served as Under-Secretary General of the United Nations during Kofi Annan’s tenure as Secretary General.
Aw shucks
Delicious gin, tasty oysters, live music and a shucking good time can all be expected at Oysters in the Hills, the inaugural event by Ambleside Distillers and Gazander Oysters, on Saturday, November 2. The two family-owned businesses have partnered to create the event, held at Ambleside Distillers in Hahndorf.
