Taking the stage

Step onto the stage with performers Zoe Komazec and Stefanie Jones in a celebration of Mary Poppins, running throughout the month at the Adelaide Festival Centre.

Hailing from Adelaide, performer Zoe Komazec is back in her hometown and on stage for Mary Poppins the Musical at the Festival Theatre until August 27. Growing up at her mum’s Norwood studio, Barbara Jayne Dance Centre, opened Zoe’s eyes to the world of theatre and performing and as the show’s swing and choreographer, Zoe says she’s ticking off a bucket list item with Mary Poppins.

“It encompasses multiple styles of dance, stunning costumes and sets, incredible choreography and such a special story,” Zoe says. “To perform this beautiful production in my hometown for my family and friends is a dream come true and something I will cherish forever and never forget.”

To celebrate the show, Zoe teamed up with Stefanie Jones, who plays Mary Poppins, to play dress ups in Paolo Sebastian gowns.

Stefanie wears The Nutcracker collection gown, POA, from Paolo Sebastian; Kosta nude satin heel, $219.95, from Tony Bianco; 18ct white gold chandelier drop earrings, $28,900, 18ct white gold diamond ring, $15,900, Roberto Coin Love in Verona bangle, $18,950, from James Thredgold Jeweller.

Zoe wears The Passage of Spring collection gown, POA, from Paolo Sebastian; Laos heel, $219.95, from Tony Bianco; Roberto Coin Princess Flower ring, $8600, from James Thredgold Jeweller.
