In the second episode, Penny catches up ceramic artist and filmmaker Margaret Dodd.

The Art Gallery of South Australia has recently completed a major acquitision of Dodd’s avant-garde 1982 film and ceramic series This Woman is Not a Car.

First exhibited at AGSA in 1977, This Woman Is Not a Car consists of a film and ceramic sculptures depicting Holden cars dressed as brides, mothers and babies. This display includes Dodd’s sculptures, film, costumes and props, as well as prints and photographs from her contemporaries.
