SALIFE The Podcast, Episode 3
In the third episode of SALIFE The Podcast, Penny catches up with renowned Adelaide fashion identity and personal stylist Lucy MacGill.
Lucy says fashion is about feeling good, as well as looking good. The former owner of famed Rundle Street boutique Platinum and stylist to the stars is now on a mission to make real women feel beautiful.

The personal stylist teaches an online masterclass for women of all ages who have perhaps fallen into a fashion rut, or feel they have nothing to wear. Lucy recently visited long-time friend, Adelaide model Sara Abel Smith in her wardrobe for a personal styling session. Sara joins Lucy on the podcast to remember their days on the party scene.

A mum of twin 21-year-old sons, Lucy claims that some of the outfits she dressed the boys in as children would still be relevant today. Lucy’s son Ben joined her for the podcast – it seems the two haven’t always agreed on her fashion choices.

After a long career in fashion as a retailer, wholesaler, agent and designer, Lucy says she has finally found her true calling as a personal stylist, helping real women to create a wardrobe of outfits they love. “If you’ve got the right outfit on and you feel incredible, the rest will follow suit,” she says.
