This year’s nominations for the SALIFE Awards, presented by Brand South Australia, are open – and offer you a chance to recognise the people making waves in our state.
Be the voice of South Australia with the SALIFE Awards
There is so much that makes South Australia home, thanks to a vibrant range of businesses, people and places.
The 2024 SALIFE Awards, presented by Brand South Australia, is your opportunity to highlight and celebrate your favourite contributors to the state. Nominations close on Sunday September 29 – so get in while you can!
Everyone can nominate a favourite across any or all of the 14 categories here, and three finalists in each category will be selected by an independent panel of judges from industry bodies.
SALIFE editor Liz Walsh says it’s about celebrating the impactful members of South Australia across an extensive range of categories – some familiar, some brand new – including South Australian Inspiring Future Leader, Absolute Best Tourism Experience, South Australian Brand of the Year and SALIFE Person of the Year.
“SALIFE is committed to recognising the people who make South Australia thrive, celebrating their contributions, dedications and impact on the community and economy,” says Liz.
“We are excited to present another year of the SALIFE Awards and continue to acknowledge those who make a strong impact.”
Last year’s SALIFE Person of The Year, Heather Croall, has contributed to the arts of South Australia for over three decades.
The CEO and director of the Adelaide Fringe Festival told SALIFE the award “validates the countless round-the-clock days of hard work, the sleepless nights, and the endless dedication poured into making the Adelaide Fringe a vibrant celebration of creativity”.
Heather and her team also won the South Australian Event of the Year, taking home multiple prizes.
Celebrate the state’s best and brightest, like Heather, by having your say in this year’s awards.
The SALIFE Awards recognise individuals, businesses, events, places and products that contribute to the vibrancy of South Australia. They also pay homage to the places that make South Australia a foodie hotspot.
Last year’s winner for the Absolute Restaurant of the Year, chef Jake Kellie from Arkhé, told SALIFE the award “is an acknowledgement to our team and our customers – present and future – that what we’re doing here is something different and worthwhile”.
