Norwood is the place to be tomorrow for a shopping experience with a difference that the whole family will enjoy.

Norwood Place will come alive this Saturday, June 1, with a Market Day filling the centre with special offers and family fun.

The market atmosphere will feature stalls, giveaways and live music to entertain shoppers. There will also be plenty to keep the little ones entertained, including a photo booth and other activities from 11am until 2pm.

“It puts the fun back into shopping, especially for the kids who are loving the free face painting, craft and glitter tattoos,” says Dannii Buchheim of Norwood Place.

Local retailers all swing into action for the day, including Parade Cellars where they will be offering tastings of Braccioforte Limoncello and the new release Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin.

“It’s great to see shoppers taking their time to stop and enjoy the many sampling stalls, and even sit and listen to the live music in the mall,” says Dannii.

Other tastings on offer for hungry shoppers will include fruit and popcorn from Metro Fresh, seafood from Seafood on Parade and Asian-inspired dishes from Chicken Made Easy.

Norwood Foodland will have vegetable hot chips, vegan and vegetarian meals, gourmet yoghurt and Thomas Farm Kitchen recipe bags. Don’t forget to stop at the Specsavers eye care booth for a goodie bags.

There will be many other one-day special offers across the retailers, including CIBO Espresso, Details Handbags and Sportspower.

The next Market Days to put in your diary are July 13, August 10 and September 14.
