Abbey and Elliot were married at Willunga Courthouse Museum.

Abbey and Elliot met at school, Elliot waiting until the end of their senior year to ask his future wife out. While they were at the Finke Desert Race in Alice Springs, Elliot – a keen motorcyclist – proposed to Abbey. The couple used their own cars for the wedding, including a 1970s Series 3 LandRover and a 1950s Austin A40. “The day was just as we had always hoped,” Abbey says. “It was pure delight and contentment. Everything was so relaxed and we managed to take time to just enjoy ‘being’.”
