About nine months after meeting, Georgie and Patrick were engaged at Hardy’s Verandah restaurant after a degustation in which the final course revealed the engagement ring.

The couple married at St Patrick’s Church in the city and the couple say it was the greatest day of their lives. “Our favourite part of the day was bringing our family and friends, including a few from interstate and overseas, all together in one room to celebrate our marital union and the beginning of our new lives together,” Georgie says. “It filled us with immense joy to see our guests having an amazing time, dancing the night away on the dance floor with our talented DJs and musicians.”
