Felicity and Phil had the wedding perfect day, against all odds.

Felicity and Phil had booked their entire wedding and were anticipating the day when COVID-19 hit. Restrictions eased two weeks before their set date, from 20 to 75 people – the exact number they were expecting. They live-streamed the ceremony for interstate and overseas guests, who dressed up and enjoyed a glass of bubbly from their own homes. “Despite having to change our original plans due to COVID, we ended up feeling like we had our dream wedding after all,” Felicity says. “We were so grateful to be able to have 75 loved ones celebrate with us at the last minute, which, at the end of the day, is what really matters the most. It was also special as it was the first wedding or even outing everyone had been to in months and was the beginning of South Australia lifting its restrictions.”
