Roll up! Roll up!
Run away with Cirque du Soleil this weekend as it brings its worldwide, Mexican-themed hit, Luzia to the big top at the Adelaide Showground. Marvel at the amazing performers as jugglers juggle at breakneck speed, acrobats swing through the air and a contortionist moves his body in unbelievable ways. The Montreal-based contemporary circus is performing Luzia until July 7.
A trip down memory lane
Head to the David Roche Foundation House Museum in North Adelaide this weekend for a special exhibition featuring the toys of yesteryear. From knucklebones to pick-up sticks, they are all there in Australian Toys 1880-1965: The Luke Jones Collection exhibition, running until August 24. This ticketed exhibition will take you down memory lane with historic Australian toys from collector Luke Jones.

Under the sea
Each year, the only known mass congregation of the Australian Giant Cuttlefish (Sepia Apama) occurs in the winter waters of Upper Spencer Gulf Marine Park in Whyalla. To celebrate this, Cuttlefest runs through until August and includes guided cuttlefish snorkels, glass-bottom boat tours, a virtual reality cuttlefish rendezvous and a NAIDOC Week quiz night.
The Festival State
After its grand celebration of 50 years in 2023, the Adelaide Festival Centre will be celebrating half a century of its drama centre, which comprises the Dunstan Playhouse and the Space Theatre. The 1974: Stage Two exhibition pays tribute to the exciting history of this performing arts venue. Explore the costumes, props and set displays as you learn about this Adelaide institution. The exhibition is on display in the Adelaide Festival Theatre Galleries until July 20.
