360-degree immersion

There will be extended opening hours and entertainment options in Beags outdoor dining bar and the pop-up Immerse bar.

Plant-based party

Vegan Festival Adelaide is back in Adelaide’s East Terrace for another year of plant-based delights and mindful activities for the whole family. The two-day festival will be packed with live performances, guest keynote speakers, children’s entertainment, cooking demonstrations, educational workshops and an abundance of delicious food and drink. Whether you’re interested in health, fitness and raw food or more of a burgers, donuts and cake kind of person, this year’s Vegan Festival Adelaide will be catering to every vegan craving.

Wailers and jailers

Brace yourself for a spooky afternoon of tricks and treats at the Adelaide Gaol on Sunday, October 31 as Wail at the Gaol returns for Halloween. Collect a loot bag from the ‘treat wing’ before venturing into the New Building where nerves will be tested as the ‘trick experience’ promises to deliver the scares. Once you’ve survived the Halloween horrors of the Adelaide Gaol, unwind in the Gaol Road Markets with plenty of food and drink pop-ups in addition to live music between 2pm and 6pm.

Spicy snappers

Things are spicing up at the Adelaide Central Market on Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30 as the Chilli Crab Shack pop-up returns. Callum Hann and the team from Sprout will be serving up fresh Spencer Gulf blue Sswimmer crabs cooked in a tasty Asian-style chilli tamarind sauce with egg noodles and Thai herbs. Pair this with some local beer, live music and marketplace vibes and you’ve got a sell-out afternoon ahead.

Race away

Enjoy the Spring Racing Derby Day in style this Saturday, October 30 as Penfolds presents lunch at Magill Estate Kitchen to celebrate the release of Penfolds x Thiénot Champagne Rosé. Sip on a glass of champagne rosé on arrival before enjoying a decadent four-course lunch with paired wines.
