The Moseley Beach Club will return this summer season, with the venue taking inspiration from Italy’s sun-drenched Amalfi coast. Expect an Italian flourish throughout the food and drinks menu, as well as styling and design. Enjoy a relaxed yet fun coastal venue for the whole family with free entry, fresh food, delicious cocktails, casual dining, a kids zone, booths, day beds and luxe loungers. Live music will be performed daily with DJs spinning beats every weekend.
Moonlit markets
The Ebenezer Night Markets will return to Ebenezer Place in Adelaide’s East End on December 4, 12 and 19 with an abundance of food, fashion, jewellery, artwork and craft stalls ready to browse and buy. With outdoor lighting, casual dining spots and smooth live tunes, the evening events will illuminate the natural beauty of the street and provide an opportunity for some of Adelaide’s best artisans and foodies to create an outdoor shopping experience to remember. Get in some Christmas shopping or enjoy an evening out with your loved ones and embrace the city’s summer nights.
Christmas wonder
Celebrate the magic of Christmas at Santa’s Wonderland from Friday, December 3 to Friday, December 24. Post your letters to Santa Claus and enjoy a Christmas story read by Mrs Christmas in the Traditional Family Christmas Land before heading to the Ice Wonderland for fun and thrills on the ice-skating rink, toboggan slide and amusement rides. Your favourite Christmas characters will spend the day singing carols and interacting with visitors as they roam the Adelaide Showground spreading Christmas cheer. Gather up the family and celebrate the festive season in a spectacular world of Christmas wonder.
Enlighten your life
South Australia’s “feel good” festival, Enlighten Adelaide will be hosted in Partridge House, Glenelg on Saturday, December 4. Enlighten Adelaide seeks to improve the wellbeing of South Australian’s through the festival’s free workshops and wellness market. Visitors are encouraged to try something new and learn about relaxation techniques, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, nutrition, and other tools to help empower them to make healthier life choices and live a more balanced life. The event is a proud supporter of Talk Out Loud Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that helps prevent teenage suicide.
Have a bauble
Art Images Gallery on The Parade will be hosting its annual Christmas exhibition this December, showcasing the works of more than 50 artists. The gallery will be stocked with an array of locally made jewellery, ceramics, glass, limited edition prints and original artworks, bringing arts and Christmas together this season. The perfect opportunity to stock up on unique gifts by local artisans for the festive season.
