Wine Machine will be taking over Serafino Wines on Saturday, December 11 with an exciting musical line-up against the backdrop of the McLaren Vale’s picturesque wineries, accompanied by the region’s best gourmet food and wine pairings. Dance your day away where the sea meets the vines as Spacey Jane, Masked Wolf, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Art vs Science, Stace Cadet, Sumner, Mell Hall and Jimi The Kween play live on stage.

Gathered in Hahndorf

The Gathered Design Market will be making its way to Hahndorf from Thursday, December 9 to Saturday, December 11 for the annual Christmas markets. Join in all the festivities and celebrate the festive season by shopping up a storm alongside your loved ones with more than 60 stalls selling an abundance of homewares, gifts, beauty products, fashions, accessories and decorations. There will be plenty to eat and drink throughout the day with stalls selling bao buns, dumplings, curries, gozlemes, sweet treats and refreshments including coffee and wine. A gold coin donation is required for entry with part proceeds being donated to the Love Out Loud Christmas Appeal.

Moonlit markets

The Ebenezer Night Markets will return to Ebenezer Place in Adelaide’s East End on Sunday, December 12 with an abundance of food, fashion, jewellery, artwork and craft stalls ready to browse and buy. With outdoor lighting, casual dining spots and smooth live tunes, the evening events will illuminate the natural beauty of the street and provide an opportunity for some of Adelaide’s best artisans and foodies to create an outdoor shopping experience to remember.

What the fork

South Australia’s mobile food truck festival, Fork on the Road will be hosting Forkmas in Victoria Square on Sunday, December 12, with local street food vendors, breweries and musical talent. The square will be transformed into a festive food wonderland with pop up bars, live festive music and Christmas activities for the whole family to enjoy. Bring a picnic rug and indulge in a delicious lunch from one of the 12 gourmet food trucks before sipping on a drink with friends or getting your face painted with the kids.

Sunset sips

Enjoy an evening of wining and dining at Whistler Wines in the Barossa Valley with Summer Session #2 on Friday, December 10. Watch the sunset and enjoy the winery after dark with all your favourite Whistler Wines available by the glass or bottle. Senor Taco will be cooking up a storm for dinner with their delicious, hand-made Mexican-inspired meals available throughout the night. Sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere with a Friday night of wining and dining in the summertime heat.

Twinkle twinkle

Adelaide Hills’ Lobethal Valley will be lighting up as the community puts on the Lobethal Christmas Festival on Sunday, December 12. Following the official “Lights On” ceremony, residents will flip the switch on their Christmas lights and these wonderful illuminations will remain lit each night until Sunday, December 30. There will also be festival attractions and nightly events happening on the main street during the month.

Festive markets

The Barossa Christkindl Market will be bringing Christmas festivities to the region on Saturday, December 11 at Tolley Reserve. There will be fun for the whole family with face painting, bouncing castles, market stalls and an abundance of food and drink pop-ups. Soak up the sunshine and get in some Christmas shopping, all while enjoying the Barossa’s warm, country hospitality.

Adelaide Convention Centre is hosting two Christmas parties for grown-ups with Santa’s Candyland on Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11. Enjoy a three-course meal and a full beverage package while you enjoy live music from Tim Campbell and The Cast, with dance crew Impact Entertainment. Gather your colleagues, social club or friends for an unforgettable night of laughs, fun and festivities.
